Selena Gomez is engaged to Benny Blanco!
The 32-year-old star took to her social media page to announce the exciting news late on Wednesday evening, and she looked overcome with emotion in a series of photos she shared with her fans.
Starting strong, the first image in a four-photo carousel posted to her grid is a close-up of Selena’s left hand showing off the absolutely huge diamond ring.
The second photo suggests that Benny proposed during a romantic picnic, with Selena seen beaming from ear to ear while sitting on a blanket strewn with picnic accessories in an outdoor area.
The third photo is a selfie of Selena looking close to happy tears as she covers her mouth with her left hand. In the last image, she is still beaming as Benny embraces her and kisses her on the head on what appears to be a closet floor.
“forever begins now..,” Selena captioned the post, with Benny adding in the comments: “hey wait… that’s my wife.”

And Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston were among Selena’s famous friends to also flock to the comment section, with Taylor simply writing: “yes I will be the flower girl.”
“HONEY!! Congratulations sweet mama! ❤️” Jennifer added, and Cardi B wrote: “Waiiiitttt hold on 😱😱😱😱😱❤️❤️❤️”
“OMMGGGGG CONGRATSSS AHHH” Lil Nas X commented, with Gwyneth Paltrow posting a string of heart emojis.

On her Instagram story, Selena shared another photo of her ring, as well as a video of her FaceTiming somebody who is screaming with excitement as the star holds up her hand to the camera.

Meanwhile, Benny shared Selena’s post to his own Instagram story without adding any further comment.
Selena and Benny first crossed paths years before they started dating, with the two collaborating on the song “I Can’t Get Enough,” which also features J Balvin and Tainy.
Things turned romantic between them last year, with Selena revealing in December 2023 that they had already been together for six months.
In comments to fans on Instagram, she added at the time: “He is my absolute everything in my heart.”
