Charli and Cullen Worgan, both living with dwarfism, defy medical risks and public criticism to raise three healthy children. Their story inspires love, strength, and family unity.
Couple with Dwarfism Have Children Against the Odds – A Story of Hope and Love
Charli Worgan and her husband Cullen, who live in Sydney, Australia, are not your typical couple. Both were born with different forms of dwarfism. Instead of being asked when they would start a family, they were often asked why. But Charli and Cullen had a dream—to build a loving family of their own.
Despite serious health risks linked to their genetics, the couple chose to move forward with starting a family. Doctors explained that any child could inherit Charli’s type of dwarfism, Cullen’s type, be of average height—or in rare and dangerous cases, inherit both conditions, which is often fatal at birth.
Charli’s pregnancies were not easy. During her third pregnancy, she had to go through a painful and emotionally difficult test called CVS (Chorionic Villus Sampling) to learn more about the baby’s health. These were not easy decisions, but they were made with love, care, and medical guidance.
Through it all, Charli stayed strong and shared her journey on Instagram. She now has more than 300,000 followers who admire her courage and honesty. While some people have criticized her for having children, Charli has always been open about the struggles and has called for more kindness and understanding toward families like hers.
In early 2021, Charli gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Rip, who joined his older sisters, Tilba and Tully. Each child is loved deeply and celebrated for who they are.
Charli uses her online platform to show that being a parent with dwarfism is just like any other parenting journey—filled with love, laughter, challenges, and joy.
Her story is a powerful reminder that all families deserve respect, no matter what they look like or what challenges they face. Charli and Cullen’s journey proves that love is what truly makes a family.
